Award winning Taxipal to be launched in Europe soon

taxipal_introEstonian tech undertaking  T+1 Solutions, belonging to an entrepreneur Raoul Järvis, prepares for the European launch of its new taxi ordering service Taxipal. The company promises to make it available during this year in several countries. All details regarding the launch will be disclosed later on.

Taxipal (former Taxi4me) software solution has triumphed in this years Navteq Global LBS Challenge 2009, winning also the Grand Prix. And received prizes in a total value of more than USD 560 000, including cash, software, and Navteq’s mapping data licenses.

Taxipal, more effective in  bigger cities, allows customers to connect with the best avalible and trusted taxis. Customer has to position himself or can do it also by default, enter details of the needed trip (including desired time). After that he will shortly receive a list of bids from the registered taxi companies to his mobile and can choose the best one.

T+1 aims to make the service available to wide range of mobile platforms – iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile, Java Mobile. Development is going on in a team of eight people located in Estonia. T +1 Solutions is a company generating new ideas and organizing contracting and outsourcing of IT-development in India.
